Join Santa Rosa County for their second annual Teacher Hiring Event, "Teaching Spots and Flip Flops!" As you travel to your spring break destination, stop by and find out how you can work where others come to vacation! Business casual attire, bring copies of your resume, transcripts and teaching certificate if you have it. Administrators will be on-site for interviews and same day contract will be offered! The Great Florida Teach-In

The Great Florida Teach-In is an annual job fair organized by the Florida Department of Education, Bureau of Educator Recruitment, Development and Retention. It provides a convenient forum that enables certified teachers seeking employment in Florida to obtain interviews with Florida school district and Florida charter school personnel responsible for hiring teachers.

The 2018 Teach-In is scheduled for Saturday, March 10, 2018 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Wyndham Resort on International Drive in Orlando, Florida. The Department does not hire or interview teachers; accordingly, the Department cannot guarantee that teachers attending the Teach-In will be interviewed or offered employment. 


Attendance is restricted to educators who possess a valid Professional Certificate, Florida Temporary Certificate, or Florida Statement of Eligibility indicating they are eligible in any of the following subject areas: 

NOTE: Recent and upcoming Spring 2018 college "education major" graduates are also encouraged to register for and attend the 2018 Great Florida Teach-In.
