Teach In Florida

The Bureau of Educational Technology encourages and supports technology integration in schools. Technology integration in the curricula entails teachers’ and students’ seamless use of technology as a tool to accomplish a given task in a disciplined study that promotes higher-order thinking skills. The Bureau of Educational Technology fosters technology integration through:

• Offering professional development through the Florida Digital Educator Program;
• Providing resources through the Educational Technology Clearinghouse; and
• Producing tools for districts, schools, teachers and students through the Florida Innovates system.
