The Southern Regional Education Board has assembled resources to help meet your unique needs in the SREB State-Teacher Center. From searching for a program or course to understanding highly qualified standards in your SREB state, preparing for a test, or finding a job, we are your one-stop shop.
FCAT Explorer helps Florida's students practice skills outlined by the Sunshine State Standards and assessed by the FCAT. Practice for 4th, 6th, 8th, and 10th Grade Reading; 5th, 8th, and 10th Grade Math are currently offered, with other grades and subjects coming soon.
The STEPS Web site walks you through the entire process of creating standards-based lesson plans. A convenient tool, the Lesson Architect allows you to save your lessons and edit them later.

Florida PROMiSE addresses the need to improve the mathematics and science achievement of students through professional development. Florida PROMiSE is a partnership among the three Florida Public Research - Flagship Universities (USF, FSU, & UF), four large school districts (Miami-Dade, Hillsborough, Duval & Seminole), educational consortia (Heartland Educational Consortium (HEC), North East Florida Educational Consortium (NEFEC) & Panhandle Area Educational Consortium (PAEC)), Florida Virtual School, and Horizon Research, Inc. PROMiSE lays the foundation and leads development and implementation of large-scale, systemic professional development and teacher education programs to significantly improve learning in mathematics and science of all students by working collaboratively with a statewide network of stakeholders to implement the new mathematics and science standards.
Funded by the Florida Department of Education to the Independent Colleges and Universities of Florida and Florida Space Research Institute these web-based, self-paced modules enable participants to meet Florida's Educator Accomplished Practices. Additional modules are available to enhance teacher content knowledge in mathematics and science.
These modules were developed through a joint effort of the Bureau of Educator Certification and the Bureau of Exceptional Education and Student Services (BEESS). They are offered free of charge though the collaborative efforts of our office, (FDLRS HRD Coordinating Unit) and nineteen FDLRS Associate Centers around the state.
FOR-PD is an online staff development project designed to help teachers improve reading instruction for learners in grades preK-12. The project is funded through the Florida Department of Education.
The Office of Educational Technology provides leadership and support to schools and libraries throughout the state of Florida in the effective use of telecommunications.
